Amazing. Lots of programing options. Super long battery life. Hasn't needed a change but shower wizard said it should last 6 months with 2 people using it. This has solved my problem with my kids staying in the shower forever!! I wish I would have bought this many years ago!

Honestly, I struggled a bit with the settings at first. Now that I have the hang of it, it’s a breeze. But my kids have had a learning curve because they went from outrageous 30 minute showers down to 15. Know it’s easy to use, I can adjust the timer as needed, and it takes the yelling out of our mornings (mostly).

After years of battling our youngest teenage son who is affected by autism and ADHD, we found the Shower Wizard. It's the best money we have spent on any gadget to help with routines and time management. Our son actually loves it also as it helps him feel more independent. Now that my husband and I don't have to give nagging reminders and end up in arguments with our son about getting out of the shower, we finally have some peace to our mornings and we can't thank you enough. My only feedback would be it needs to ship with a longer USB-C charging cord. We had to buy a 10 foot cord for charging. Thank you for this genius gift to our whole family.

We ordered this to stop one of our kids from taking 45 minute showers. We tried using a kitchen timer and when the timer goes off, it meant time to turn the water off but she would just turn the timer off and keep going. This kicked her habit real quick! We left it set on the default settings of 8 minute showers with a 5 minute lockout and she is in and out as she should be now. The only issue we've had is sometimes it will randomly lockout after you turn on the shower and we have to reset it with the remote. No biggie but maybe look into that programming issue.

We have 4 kids on a well, as they’ve grown up we started getting into fights with lots of showers needing to happen at various times of day. The default settings were perfect for us. Our family is very happy as we can now take showers without risking someone using up all the hot water and leaving none for the rest of us. Works great! 3 teenagers that refuse to take normal length showers. Constant fighting and no one being able to get into the bathroom. Not to mention the insane amount of humidity trapped in the bathroom. This has definitely helped solve that or at least diminish the multiple issues. Just somehow need them to stop sitting on the actual toliet for 40 minutes starting at their phones.

I host international students and have been looking for this kind of water saving technology and was absolutely thrilled to find the Shower Wizard! I actually recommended the product to a colleague of mine prior to making my own purchase. His son was taking 3 hour long showers a day and my colleague started slowly reducing the shower time which is now down to a reasonable time. The son actually tried to remove the unit from the shower head but wasn't able to do so. My colleague thanks me often for all the water savings. For my situation, I purchased 6 units for a rental property and my home. The device installation is easy and the time adjustment is a bit confusing (and a bit of a search online) at first but very simple once I figured it out. I share a bathroom with a student and installed the Shower Wizard in my own personal shower. I haven't received water bills for either properties yet but I 'm sure the water consumption has improved significantly. I highly recommend the Shower Wizard! The investment is completely worth it.

We got this for my parents who have dementia. My Father would turn the shower on and walk away, sometimes at night when everyone was sleeping. The final straw was when he turned it on at 4am and we did not notice it until 7am. The bathroom was a drippy steam room. Now even if he does turn the shower on and forgets he is taking a shower the water will only run for the time we have programmed. LOVE IT! Thank you for creating this product.

A month after purchase, and several weeks after initial review, this is even a bigger hit in the house. For me, I try to keep my "shower-on" time to less than 60 seconds total. The boys (elementary school) take it as a challenge to see if they can take separate showers all within the 8 minute time (easy for them). The youngest girl loves it, the older girls despise it (which means, its effective!). Need a disable code to keep momma happy though...

Absolutely love the Shower Wizard! We're a family of 8. The littles really like that they don't have to worry about taking too long and the teens accepted it really well. I love that I don't have to spend 2 hours a night being "shower monitor" banging on the door every 15 minutes. LoL, this is the ultimate mess around, find out device. My oldest two daughters were taking 30+ min showers, as a family we're averaging 6,500gal a month now (still too early to see a new avg). I put this on the downstairs shower, now they both shower upstairs... not for long. Going to order a second one, though hopefully I can figure out a bypass for wife... happy life 'n all. I've gone to the other extreme, and try to shower with total water-on time less than a minute; its great. The quick-action on the valve is excellent.

Did not work as advertised. Followed directions to program it and it would come on run for about 2 minutes and shut off for about a minute then turn back on. Attempted programming multiple times but it never worked properly. Sorry about this. Great idea but just didn’t work for us.

Our kids were taking 45 minute showers. We tried everything from a light timer to turning the water heater down, and nothing worked to get them out of the shower! This did the trick. They still sometimes wait the 5 minutes in between for a combined 16 minute shower (which we're putting an end to when we catch it), but overall, it's a huge improvement and better for our water bill!

One thing I wish tho, I had to use the shower before the lockout window was up. And in the documentation, it doesn't indicate how to override the lockout. But I figured out that I can just press the cancel button on the remote to override.
And programming is a bit confusing at first.
All in all tho, it's a great product! Highly recommend. Even for me, helps me be more efficient with water useage.

Works perfectly. My elderly father in law kept leaving the shower on after he would get out and we wouldn’t discover it was on until hours later! He insisted he would turn off the water in the future, but after he left the water on several more times, I had to find an automatic solution. The shower wizard to the rescue. I set the shower for 10 min and on several occasions I have found the water faucet was left turned on full blast after he got out of the shower, but the wizard kicked in to turn off the water flow!

Jim and his team are awesome!! My first wizard didn't work so well, I emailed with questions and Jim always answered with help. I eventually sent it back in for them to check it over as to what could possibly be wrong with it for future issues. He sent me a brand new one and it has been working like a charm!!! It’s worked great! I’ve had a few “hiccups” where my kid couldn’t turn it on. I realized it was due to the motion sensor not detecting them. The showerhead blocks much of the motion sensor.
