The Shower Wizard is an easy to install Shower Timer that helps you save time, money and water by creating a shut off timer for your shower. Works great for keeping your family on a schedule! The Shower Wizard can be programmed for 6, 8,10 or 12 minute showers ensuring you find the right time for your family's needs.

Daily Operations:

Press button to start shower and timer (factory set at 8 minutes)
Press the dome at any time during the green or yellow cycle to pause shower and save time.
After time is up (factory set to 8 minutes) the dome will start blinking yellow and the water will pulse giving you 1 extra minute to rinse and finish shower.
Timer shuts off after estra minute, red light indicates that the shower is in "lockdown" mode and will not be able to start again for 5 minutes (Enough time to dry off and allow the next family member in the bathroom!)

Requires 4 AA batteries.

Installation:

With the shower turned off, unscrew the existing shower head.
Screw the SHOWER WIZARD valve onto the shower arm.
Reattach the shower head to the SHOWER WIZARD valve while holding the valve to prevent it from turning. Do not over tighten.
Insert 4 AA batteries into the back of the control module. SHOWER WIZARD will start a self-test upon activation flashing red, green, blue, and closing valve.
Attach the dome assembly to the wall using the included white adhesive backed Velcro strips or hang with a nail, or screw.
Secure the valve’s power cord to the shower arm with the included black Velcro wrap

The SHOWER WIZARD valve will be in the closed position and no water will be flowing from the showerhead until the water handles are opened and the SHOWERWIZARD dome is pushed.

A few words about the SHOWER WIZARD and its operation:

The SHOWER WIZARD operates on 4 AA batteries which should last over 12 months under normal use. As the batteries near the end of their life, a triple white flash from inside the SHOWER WIZARD will be noticeable when starting a shower cycle. Should the batteries fall below the next preset minimum, the shower will not operate. A white flashing light will be seen until the batteries are replaced.

The SHOWER WIZARD conserves water, eliminates leaks and trains every user to be water conscious. This one simple step of activating the SHOWER WIZARD will take water conservation to a higher level. A SHOWER WIZARD shower with a duration although factory set at 8 minutes, 5 minutes is sufficient with another bonus minute for 6 total minutes. Compared to an average shower this will save at least 3 minutes of time, 6 gallons of water plus the required energy to heat the water. There will be massive savings each year!

NOTE: After the shower duration, the SHOWER WIZARD will be in lock down mode. The dome will blink red during lock down; after 5 minutes a new shower cycle can begin for the next person.

NOTE: Never remove the batteries while the SHOWER WIZARD is activated, this could damage the device.

NOTE: This Item should never be exposed to direct water usage.

Limited Warranty

The manufacturer warrants this product to be free from defects in workmanship and materials under normal residential use and condition, for a period of 30 days from the original invoice date. Shipping and handling fees are to be paid by the customer. The manufacturer agrees at its discretion during the warranty period, to repair any defect in material or workmanship or to furnish a repaired or refurbished product of equal value in exchange without charge (except for a fee for shipping, handling, packaging, return postage, and insurance which will be incurred by the customer). Such repair or replacement is subject to verification of the defect or malfunction and proof of purchase as confirmed by showing the model number on original dated sales receipt.

Terms of Manufacturer’s Installation Limitations

Purchaser bears the costs such as from accidental misuse, labor for installation and/or removal, direct water exposure, consequential water leak damage, extreme heat and frost conditions, defective supply plumbing lines, and batteries included are not warranted.

I have a son with severe autism who loves taking showers that last hours. We'll eventually move to the desert and this isn't a good lifelong pattern for him. I purchased this because I didn't like managing shower times and getting annoyed with him when he inevitably would ignore me and stay put another hour. The shower wizard is terrific! He'll still stay too long just laying under the faucet, but we're closer to where we want to be, it hasn't broken in two weeks and our water bill has plummeted.

Oh. My. God. I SO WISH I knew about this product 10 years ago. This thing is brilliant. BRILLIANT! We have three sons - a 17 year old, who takes HOUR LONG SHOWERS. And 11 year old twins. One who take 30 second showers (and gets out of the shower still dirty) and the other is like his older brother and takes HOUR LONG SHOWERS. We are SO TIRED of yelling and talking, and showing them water and electric bills, and talking about our families' septic systems when we're visiting family - to no avail. This product is SO BRILLIANT. We set the timer for 6 minutes. So our two kids are now forced to reduce their showers by at least 40 minutes. And we told our other kid that he HAS to stay in the shower until the timer goes off. So that kiddo actually gets clean :) I am telling everyone I know about this product. No more yelling, no more anger. My husband also installed this in such a way so that our teenager won't be able to figure out how to take it apart. He really locked in the shower wizard so he needs a special wrench to undo it. Our teen will never figure out how to get around this. LOVE IT!

This little device is the best thing. My adult son has OCD and has had a really hard time limiting the length of his showers. The water bill was so high!!! We were at the point of standing outside the bathroom every morning urging him to finish. All very stressful. Now he has the limitation of the shower wizard. This is an excellent product and I believe there is a special place in heaven for the inventor. My 15yo was taking super long showers. He gets home late from soccer practice and we go to bed before him, only to not be able to fall asleep because of the shower running and the light under the door shines into our room. My husband would have to get up angry and go pound on the door after 30-40 min long showers. Who knows how long he goes when we are not home. This product was easy to install, works well, saves water and money. It’s also brought peace to our home. I even called and a very kind gentleman (I believe the inventor himself) helped me figure out what I was doing wrong. Give him a noble peace prize.

ShowerWizard was shipped promptly and arrived in good condition. Easy to install, and setup. I did not change the default values of 8 min showers, but that has cut down on my two teens taking 20-30 minute showers. Thank you ShowerWizard. The only "wish" would be if this were WIFE or Bluetooth enabled to set up the timer myself with an app, other than that this is a great alternative.

I’m so happy to have found this product! My teenage son was spending hours in the shower on a daily basis, increasing my water bill and damaging the bathroom walls and ceiling with the steam. I ordered the shower wizard and found it extremely easy to install. I was particularly impressed with the quality as there is no leaking from the connection. The only problem I’m having is that it won’t stick to the shower wall, but I feel that may be due to my tile versus the product. Otherwise works exactly as advertised! I even bought another to put on my outside shower.

The shower wizard was very easy to install and is simple and easy to use. I think the hose connection on my shower has BSP 1/2" thread and connects to the shower wizard valve without any leak. I got this to help my kids take shorter showers. We tried the "push the button every 30 seconds to keep the shower running" mode and currently have it set for the maximum time of 14 minutes but I think my son who is a bit stubborn sometimes waits the 5 minutes when the valve is disabled to take a second shower so it might be helpful to have the option to set a longer delay in between showers. My daughter is more respectful of the time limit. Both kids were able to figure out how to use it very easily. The 1 minute warning color change at the end is helpful but again I think having the option to set this a bit longer would be useful. I put a timer in the shower along with the shower wizard so my kids can see more clearly how much time they have left.

The product works great and has really helped tackle our tough bathroom routine with our special needs teenager. The only complaint is how short batteries last in the device so I recommend getting rechargeable batteries.
